In today’s world, Gel Electrophoresis technique is one of the well-known molecular techniques for manipulating and analyzing macromolecules such as DNA, RNA and proteins in the areas of molecular biology and biochemistry. Hence, the webpage gel electrophoresis is designated to provide the overview of Gel Electrophoresis techniques with the purpose of introducing this technique to future biologists.

 

This webpage is accomplished upon the full cooperation of Hang Bee Wen and Ooi Zhi Sin under the supervision of Dr. Salehhudin Hamdan, fulfilling one of the course requirements for the subject of Techniques in Molecular Biology. We are currently majoring in Industrial Biology (Biotechnology) third year undergraduate students at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
